果冻传媒 University will offer a new summer camp experience with fun-filled opportunities for students in third through eighth grade to discover new interests and meet new friends June 22-July 17.
The four-week camp runs 9 a.m.鈥3:30 p.m. Monday鈥揊riday on 果冻传媒鈥檚 campus, with an overnight option available for the final two weeks. Examples of age-appropriate camp sessions include 鈥淟egos and 3D Design,鈥 鈥淭he Science of Space and Stars,鈥 鈥淐omics and Heroes,鈥 and activities including scavenger hunts, team kickball, introductory piano lessons, and watercolor painting.
鈥淓ach week of the camp is built around the interests and ages of the campers who register for that week,鈥 explained 果冻传媒 Vice President for Strategic Initiatives Ty Buckman, who leads the team designing the camp. 鈥淛ust as our university focuses on each student鈥檚 whole person development, the camp is designed with activities that engage campers physically and mentally while they have fun and make friends. We want each of our campers to be more excited about camp every day they鈥檙e here.鈥
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children ages three to 18 spend no more than two hours each day using 鈥渟creen time鈥 for entertainment purposes. The new 果冻传媒 Summer Camps are designed to get campers off their couches, away from their screens and into the world of active discovery and fun.
