Women's History Month 2021

Please join us to celebrate women throughout the month of March!

Week of March 15-19:

March 15: The Brotherhood Barbershop Talk, 4 p.m. – reservations required as the event is limited to 10 persons at 1879 S. Limestone Street in Springfield. Email: witherspoonc@wittenberg.edu

March 16: Women’s History Month keynote speaker Dr. Winsome Chunnu, 6 p.m. – Celebrating Global Sisterhood, Dr. Chunnu will be exploring the intersections of race and ethnicity as they collide with nationality. She will take us through her own journey and share with us tips on supporting multi-racial and global students. Don’t miss her lecture titled “Black in America, Indian in Jamacia: Where Do I Fit In?

March 22: 31st Women’s Herstory Poster Hunt on campus. Tag WC social media and win a prize. Sponsored by the Womyn’s Center and Shades of Pearl.

March 25: Empowerment Series, 7:30 p.m. Women Leaders Panel, presented by Wilmington College.

March 25: Celebrating LGBTQ Women in Herstory - Every Thursday in social media

March 30: Period End of Sentence Film & Discussion, sponsored by the Womyn’s Center, WMST, Soci, Psych.
